To provide quality, affordable, unique, and impactful equine programs which contribute positively to participant’s mental, physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being.

To support healing and promote solace from the stresses and burdens of everyday life in the lives of children, teens, adults, veterans and seniors from all walks of life.

SERVICES & PROGRAMS OFFERED

We strive to provide affordable, quality services in a variety of settings. We especially focus on providing services for therapeutic and mental health and learning clients and providing quality educational programs to develop leadership and relational skills. We evaluate each client’s needs and abilities to design a program to help them meet their full potential. Our program is designed to help students take the principles they learn in equine-assisted sessions and apply those to other areas of life in a positive way.

Our beautiful horses

FHELC is the home of twelve beautiful horses, representing a variety of breeds, colors, ages and personalities!

Over half of our horses have been generously donated to the program, by horse owners who genuinely wanted to see their beloved horses helping people to heal and grow.

Our horses receive top quality care, with regular vet checks, massages, chiropractic care, dental work and generally lots of love from our clients, volunteers, and staff.
