JR Volunteer Day

FHELC offers a program for youth ages 10-17 to participate in volunteer opportunities as a group on Saturdays from 3 pm to 5 pm. Riding the horses is not included in this program. Please register at: https://schedule.wranglr.app/volunteer_application?token=7WALzttNk_QqSCnKqSGDyHzb3pZsZyyH
Benefits of the Program:
- Learn how to feed, muck, groom horses and do other barn chores with supervision.
- Includes a 30-minute mini lesson on horse behavior, ground work, horse health and more!
- Junior volunteers will be able to learn how to become an effective volunteer and work their way up to more independent volunteer opportunities!
- A chance to meet and socialize with other junior volunteers.
- Discounted riding lessons are available with participation (restrictions apply).
